As promised, here is the experience I had at Starbucks.

And then they asked me to leave.

No, I’m just kidding. But the first 5 panels of this comic were totally true.

I am super curious about the whole “Dirty” thing, and am tempted to try the last 3 panels and see what happens.

80%!

Today was my very last official day at work in NYC! It was a long last day (got home around 10:30 pm), but full of closure.

Put the finishing touches on my projects before handing them off to my associate, and I closed the book to this chapter in my life. Tomorrow I will go into the office to grab my little box of things before I head on out of the city for the last time.

It’s definitely bittersweet. I learned so much from my boss and from the work I was exposed to. New York City was an experience in itself, and there are definitely things that I will miss from it.

On a brighter note, I had a very interesting experience the other day at a Starbucks, and was planning on drawing a comic from it. But as it’s already 11:30 pm and I very much want to take a bath, that’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s blog!

Stay tuned!

The packing hath begun!

As I am writing this blog, I realize that I am a mere 20 hits away from reaching 10,000 hits in 9 months time.

I had been on a roll the past month in uploading at least 2 posts a week. So if you’re a regular reader, you may have noticed an recent absence of uploads.

That’s right, folks. I’m moving to Washington, D.C.!

Last week, I received a fantastic job offer at a great architecture firm in Washington D.C. and I gratefully accepted.

I am sad to be leaving my friends and the family that I made here in NJ/NY. Over the past 9 months alone on this blog, you have visual witness of the adventures and growth that I was able to experience during my time here…and to be honest, it’s going to be a bittersweet parting for me.

But with new changes comes new adventures.

And with new adventures will come new posts!

I will be furiously packing (as the new job is asking for me to start work at the beginning of April) and will do my best to document it with comics or photo comics.

Mini-Grace and I are on the move! I hope that with 10,000 hits and beyond, you will be able to follow us on these adventures in Washington D.C.

I had a weird dream last night.

In this dream, I was cooking and tried to pull a hot roast out of the oven. The weird part was that the rack was mounted way over my head and I had to strain and reach in order to get it.

Well, this is kind of what went down.

And then I woke up.

I wonder what it means?

Oh hush up.

. . .

Sweet dreams, everyone.

PS: THIS IS POST #100! AIYEE!

During my morning bath, whilst I scrubbed my toes, I noticed that one of my lil’ piggies was sore and had a hard bump.

Upon closer inspection (which involved me in an awkward pretzel-like yoga position), I found two little holes in my second toe.

I got bit! But by what?

My bet is on the vampire-spider. Or…Vampider.

Yeah.

What do you think it was?

Sorry, this isn’t a comic post~

But as we are nearing my 10,000th hit to my blog, I wanted to check in with you, my readers, to see how you’re doing and how we can get closer. Cuz I ruv you.

Please take a second and let me know how you feel!

And if you do click “OTHER” please, let me know what you’d like to see!

Hmm. I guess this still ended up being a comic post. Hehe.

Thanks!
